Karen - is this one of the songs your Europe choir sang? It sounded familiar when I first heard it, and I think that's why. Gives me goosebumps every time!
I couldn't get it to play but the words are touching.
yah we sang this one in Germany at one of the camps from the Holocost. We didnt have an audiance, it was just for us and it was really emotional. We also sang it in a couple churches and it sounded awesome!
Kathy - you can hear it from Courtney's blog. I think it's a bit different version and a different video, but similar effect.
Lisa, the Ankeny Community Chorus sang this a few years ago. (I was in the chorus for a year or two.) It was difficult to sing without crying, and the melody was hauntingly beautiful. Thanks for sharing the lyrics.
