It's beginning to look a lot like...

No, not Christmas... Spring!

The grass is greening up, and our maple is growing new shoots and the leaves are starting to come out.







The crocus bulbs that we planted last fall are flowering already!







The daylillies and the other bulbs that we planted last fall are coming up. (I'll remember what the other bulbs are are when they flower - maybe :) And yes, we still need to mulch around our daylillies - we've got lots of landscaping projects to do this summer - another tree to plant in the back, and some of mulching and border plantings.

And the weather has been more springy the last week or so - lots of rain, and a few warm days. Today was in the 60s and beautiful. If it hadn't been so windy (wind advisories and all!), it would have been a great day to bike to the park. Kaylen probably would have gotten blown off her bike today though, so we stuck around home.
