We got an email from our translator today. She should have our dossier all translated and in the mail on Tuesday. We should have it by next Thursday! Then it's off to the consulate to have legalization stamps!
We mailed home study, birth certificates, marriage certificates, and I-600A application to USCIS. :)
Also, we're praying for the mission teams who are traveling to Haiti over the next few weeks. The first teams, mostly made up of families currently in the adoption process from the same orphanage, have arrived this week. They're working on various projects at the orphanage while there, and also spending some quality time with their children, possibly meeting their children's birth parents, and meeting with government adoption officials in Haiti to move their files along.
