My step-grandmother passed away on Friday afternoon. At Christmas, and even before that, we knew her time remaining on earth was short. She is now in a much better place. I only knew her for a short time, but it didn't take long to realize just how wonderful a woman she was. She will be missed by many. She is survived by 4 children, 18 grandchildren, and 29 great-grandchildren.
